New Student Registration Information

  • Dear Ross Valley Families,

    Looking for a TK-8th grade school in Fairfax and/or San Anselmo? Welcome to the Ross Valley School District! We are pleased you have chosen Ross Valley to provide your child/ren’s education and where community inspires infinite possibilities.

    Before registering your new student, please confirm that your home address is within the Ross Valley School District boundaries and which school (TK-5th: Brookside, Hidden Valley, Manor, Wade Thomas OR 6th-8th: White Hill) is your child/ren's school of residence, click here. If you do not reside within the RVSD boundaries and would like your child/ren to attend one of our schools or you do reside within RVSD boundaries and would like your child/ren to attend a school other than their school of residence, please visit our Student Transfers webpage.

    Important: You can begin the online registration process as soon as you are physically living full-time at a residence within the Ross Valley School District's boundaries. Please note that simply owning property or holding a lease does not qualify as residency.

    If you have a child currently attending school in the Ross Valley School District, there is no need to re-register him/her for the new school year. Only students who are not currently attending a school in the District are required to register.

    For the 2025-26 school year, registration will open on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 8am.

Preview Nights 2025-26

  • Get to know your school!  A Preview Night is held at each elementary school site and is an informational evening designed for parents/guardians to learn about the TK and Kindergarten programs and to get an overview of the total school program. Our schedule is as follows:
