Welcome to Hidden Valley School!  Our campus is nestled in the Sleepy Hollow neighborhood, backing to Open Space with a wide open field and views of Mt. Tamalpais.  The spacious natural beauty of our campus invites our community of learners into a world of natural curiosity while developing skills, deepening knowledge, and discovering potential.  

At Hidden Valley you will see students develop a curiosity about, knowledge of, and a sense of responsibility toward their learning, ideas, and the larger community. Buddy classes reading together, students collaborating on a design-thinking problem, flexible seating that allows student agency, and students quietly writing reflections with soft music in the background are common classroom sights.   

What makes our school really special? Relationships. With approximately 340 students, only two or three classes per grade level, dedicated and skilled staff embrace the process of building relationships, making connections, and discovering how each student learns best. Students grow in an atmosphere where learning is both joyful and challenging, where teachers know them as individuals, and where they belong.
